Many souls… make one man…
… without recollection!
Selbst die Seele des Menschen, als die höchst potenzierte Zusammen-mengung von Mineral-, Pflanzen- und Tierseelen, hat für ihre Präexistenzen keine Rückerinnerung, weil die speziellen Seelenteile in den obbenannten drei Reichen keine eigene und streng gesonderte, sondern für ihre Art nur aus dem allgemeinen Gottraumleben gewisserart entliehene Intelligenz besaßen. Es sind zwar in einer Menschenseele alle die zahllos vielen speziellen Vorintelligenzen vereinigt beisammen, und das bewirkt, daß die Menschenseele aus sich alle Dinge wohl erkennen und verständig beurteilen kann, aber ein spezielles Rückerinnern an die früheren Bestands- und Seinsstufen ist darum nicht denkbar und möglich, weil in der Menschenseele aus den endlos vielen Sonderseelen nur ein Mensch geworden ist.
Even the soul of the human being, as the most highly potentised amalgamation of mineral, plant and animal souls, has no recollection of its pre-existences, because the special parts of the soul in the above-mentioned three kingdoms had no strictly separated intelligence of their own, but each — for their kind — possessed an intelligence that was so to speak only borrowed from the general God/space (dream?)/life. It is true that in one human soul innumerable special preliminary intelligences are united — and this causes the human soul to be able to recognise all things and to judge them intelligently — but a special recollection of earlier levels of existence and beings is neither conceivable nor possible, because in the human soul — out of the endless numbers of special souls — only one human being has come forth.

Words in Lorber’s texts are often interesting and sometimes — at first sight — not full comprehensible. Here for instance the term God/space (or is it dream?)/life. Does it coincide with the term life’s univeral public intelligence. Are the two the same? I don’t think so. It looks like God created in space a public sphere of intelligence, from which animals, plants and minerals draw their information. Each in the way it was designed and set up for.
Besides, the question here may simply be one of spelling. Gott/Raum/Leben, which would be God/space/life. Or Gott/Traum/Leben, which is God/dream/life.
He does seem to reserve input in each existence he creates. Why he here calls it a general God/dream or space/life, from which animals, plants and minerals borrow? Not sure. He certainly distinguishes between his own true free life and that, which is created in the mind of those who are created — and only exists there. His own true life —characterised by purity, holiness and love —is that which he desires us humans to part-take in.
